Accepting New Referals

Hi, I’m Chris. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My graduate research on the medicalization of counselling helped shape my approach to therapy as primarily relational and non-pathologizing, striving for counselling that is created collaboratively with your input and tailored to your specific strengths and experiences. Let’s create a space where you can express yourself authentically and talk about some of the things going on in your life.

I use an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from many evidence-based therapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, based on your needs and preferences. In our sessions you can expect discussion and reflection, the development of coping skills and strategies, and a therapeutic relationship based on respect and compassion. I work with adults individually on a variety of issues including anxiety, ADHD, grief, trauma, stress, and depression, among other issues.

My work is based in person-centered, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive perspectives. Holding space for your experiences and intersectional identities are essential aspects of therapy for me. I’d appreciate the chance to meet you where you’re at and begin walking with you on this path toward deeper knowledge.
