I am a registered Occupational Therapist in Ontario providing psychotherapy and occupational therapy services. I have been providing therapy to individuals and groups for over 17 years in a variety of settings.

I work from an acceptance and change based framework using a variety evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I support young people and adults with burnout, anxiety/mood disorders, trauma, chronic pain, & chronic health conditions. I have supported many people with successful return to work plans as well as work with military personnel and veterans from both the Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Canada. It is important to me to always strive to work from an anti-oppression lens, and a trauma informed and trauma responsive approach to all interactions in therapy, individual and group based.

In addition to my private practice, I work with the Centre for Mindfulness Studies, Toronto, delivering clinical mindfulness based group programs. Mindfulness is a core component of my clinical practice from my own deep interest, study and personal practice of mindfulness from both Eastern and Western perspectives. Due to my own personal experience of burnout in 2013, I found myself in a mindfulness based cognitive therapy group. This lead me on the path to study and be able to offer mindfulness modalities to others. I am also currently a participant in a 2 year Community Dharma Meditation teachers training program with True North Insight.
