I am a Registered Psychotherapist with widespread experience in the mental health field; I serve as a pillar of support for individuals navigating complexities of mental well-being. Over the years, I have gained knowledge working in diverse environments, including foster care, live-in and day treatment programs, and community mental health agencies, where I actively contributed to empowering children, youth, and families facing extensive challenges. I have a strong understanding of unique struggles faced by individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, traumatic experiences, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), body image concerns, low self-esteem, and the exploration of gender and sexual orientations and identities.

At the heart of the work I practice is commitment to client-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative methods to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their challenges. My therapeutic philosophy is centered on building resilience and fostering growth by working together to recognize an individual’s strengths and moving towards a meaningful and sustainable change.

In the face of our daily lives it can often appear overwhelming and with the appropriate support you will be able to overcome these challenges. In using multifaceted therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), trauma-informed approaches, and mindfulness techniques ensures that each individual receives personalized and effective support. I find value in providing a gentle, empathetic, and validating approach to meet each individual where they are at along their journey, fostering a sense of trust and empowerment.
